GILLIG secured a $9.74 million contract with Clark County Public Transit (8 e-buses + chargers)

Clark County Public Transit (C-Tran) in Vancouver, Washington, has awarded GILLIG an order for eight battery electric buses and charging equipment with an award value of $9.74 million. The manufacturer has recently secured a 44 electric bus contract in Utah.
GILLIG’s electric buses are built on the company’s proven Low Floor Platform and have Cummins propulsion systems. GILLIG’s zero-emission bus will be able to carry up to 38 seated passengers. The energy will be stored in a 444 kWh battery, split in six modules, provided by Cummins.
