The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has awarded GILLIG a contract for 10 battery electric buses. The contract has a minimum value of $8 million.
“We’re excited to bring these zero-emission buses to Montgomery County and help the county bring pollution-free transportation to its communities,” said GILLIG Vice President of Sales Bill Fay. “Montgomery County transit riders will soon get to experience one of the safest, most comfortable and quiet electric buses on the market.”
